R is for RECord
Today I taught 3rd graders how to write "R" in cursive. The word example on my instructional sheet, ironically, was "RECord."
I made up an excuse to do the "Rec" in red by saying I wanted to emphasize how the "r" goes smoothly into the letters "e" and "c."
They bought it.
