Nels Is On Fire All The Time

Nels Cline -- I mostly know him as Wilco's guitarist, although he's made all kinds of music in all kinds of contexts. The other night he came by the REC Room to lend his inimitable playing to a song we've been brewing up around here -- Everything Is On Fire by wirrow. I think it's the perfect addition. Really looking forward to see where these RECords on fire go next...

I have some (lo-fi) video of him playing this, it's just gonna take some compression etc to get it up here.

Let's start playing with some visual ideas for this song...

    Just the idea of fire...and lots of it...reminds me of the book Fahrenheit 451...and although I very much don't like the actual movie version of the book, I think some ideas could be taken from it...visuals aren't really my expertise though, but just an idea.

    its just that ive listen to the song so much im a bit sick of it heh..and then this came along and i llove those weird guitar sounds so much.. it's made me like it again.

    it's weird sometimes i love a song but due to overlistening it gets ruined..and then i find new love when it changes somehow. either i hear it played live..or a cover of it.. or if neither of those things are to be found.. i sometimes speed up the song and put drums to it heh. or slow it down and add some reverb. i did it with the entirety of ok computer
