Ext. Central Park -Day
He walks with his family through the beautiful park. His daughter swings from her parent’s outstretched hands, her blonde curls shining in the midday sun. They were returning from a picnic lunch, a Sunday tradition, when he feels it. Deep within him it tugs. This is not possible. As his brain tries to reconcile with what is happening, he sees it. The moon begins to eat its way across the sun. An eclipse. He had always been so careful, but this... He doubles over with pain, fighting down the monster that is trying to get out. In a desperate attempt to save his family he manages one word.
