The Grind (rough mix 3)

Progress so far. I'm still editing vocals, so those will be in the next mix.


What I need:


Trumpet: Playing the written parts. Also, if anyone is up for a solo from 2:53 to the end.


Tenor Sax: Again, the written parts, but also a solo during from 2:05 to the end.


Frankly, I could just use more horns in general! Especially soloists!

    I've been trying to figure that out. It builds then falls flat. It really depends what we get from horn players. Everyone seems to be shying away from playing on that section. I may just take what she's doing on the organ the second time and chop it up, then put it in the first breakdown.

    And YES! We need more HORNS!

    There isn't much to say except I am curious how more horns will effect the first heavy beat part at 1:15. right now it's pretty tame compared to the strength of the 2nd heavy part with the organ solo.

    Sounds great so far! I'll try to give the trumpet part a shot on Thursday. I suck at soloing but I should be able to lay down the written part (hopefully), if no one else does it before then.
