RE RECS, June 03, 2012

My recommendations for this week:

Hello people, its June and these are my recommendations for this week. I am trying to start to make a little introduction in my RE REC videos (yeah, me talking or trying to talk in English, Good lord!) LOL, anyway, here is my video, Please, go and check all these records, recommend them and have fun making remixes and creating new records inspire on these great illustrations, designs, tiny stories, music and videos.

RE RECS:

1. A place to sit and think by mirtle: As I said in the introduction of my video, I love mirtle’s work, she always amaze me with her fantastic drawings, and with this one is not the exception, I think that it needs more tiny stories (ThadicalRadical and KarlaMarie already made one) or it can be used for more remixes. Lovely as always!


2. Dark Picnic by paperlilies: I think that this is just beautiful, I was at HR when paperlilies upload this record and I fell in love with this, it was made inspired in Wirrow’s tiny Story: A very Dark Tiny Story and I think is just perfect and fits wonderfully with the story. I can’t wait to see more drawings made by you paperlilies! :D


3. Time Lapse by rae Osun: I love Time Lapses, in this case rae Osun made this fantastic time lapse of the sunset and mirrored it, I think is just beautiful and it can be used for any kind of remix, animation or as a resource for video intros or any video editing.


4. Candle-man rising by CmrGlc: I think that this is so creative. I love when people do that kind of things, in this case CmrGlc took a sequence of photos of this candle and she creates an image of a man trying to get out of the candle, I really love this, I think that this needs a tiny story and also I just can imagine this turned into an animation, it could be awesome, someone??! :)


5. Good Sky for falling tee by librarygirl6: I have a lot of favorite design for the summer collection, but this one is one of my favorites so far, I really love this image, is one of my favorites at HR, so I’ll be more than happy to have a tee with this illustration, great job librarygirl!


6. HitRECord Graffiti Arrow Font by epocadofim: epocadofim is doing a fantastic job making all these logos and fonts for HR, the style, colors and textures are just perfect, I think that they have to be used as a resource for a lot of things and also I could be very happy to see someone making animations or remixes with them.


7. My Tank Top Designs by belcath1981: From all the designers for this Summer collection 2012, belcath is one of my favorites, she is always creating beautiful designs and she have a lot of great ideas, so I am recommending this album that include her Tank Top designs contributions, they are all fantastic and I think that some of them should be in the summer collection.


8. Atom Song Medley by cerebis: This video is just beautiful, the resources that cerebis used are just perfect (music of Metaphorest, wirrow and megancarnes and RegularJoe’s: slow like a bunny in a pool full of honey) and the images in the video are just breathtaking, so I think that the result is just amazing.


9. Making little goose girl (Crocheted) by Cam_4: Cam_4 is super talented, we all love all the creations that she´s been doing for Hitrecord, in this case she made this video with some pictures of the process of the creation of: Goose Girl (crocheted) I think that is really awesome to be able to watch how this beautiful characters come to life thanks to Cam_4 and her wonderful work. :)


10. Landlocked Dreaming by rejjie: Just beautiful, this illustration needs that someone creates a tiny story for it, writers? Also, this illustration is perfect to get some inspiration and creates something beautiful, and also I think that this image can be used for more remixes (new illustrations).


11. The Bird Reaper (Tiny Story) by Sinnamin: From the album made by wirrow: Illustrations that needs tiny stories, sinnamin took this wonderful illustration made by Inger and turn it into this beautiful Tiny Story, there are more contributions for this illustration, and they are all great, but this one if my favorite, great as always sin! :)


12. Possibilities by Jwen: Another example of getting some inspiration from another records, in this case, Jwen took this beautiful tiny story created by bloemday and create this lovely drawing, I love the colors and the way how she interpreted the tiny story, I think that is beautiful and I can’t wait to see more contributions of this hitrecorder.  


13. Rainbow pattern by Matthewsaurus: One of my favorite patterns ever, this is impeccable, I love the colors and the fonts that he used, and it can be a great resource for a lot of things. Great Job Matthew!


14. The Mug Shot (For Lemon’s Tiny Story “Curiosity”) by sojushots: Well, soju can’t be missed at my weekly RE REC video, right? for some reason this image remember me of the movie: Fantastic Mr. Fox and I love this movie, so of course, I love this drawing, even when it was created for Lemon’s tiny story: Curiosity, I think that this guy needs a story of his own! Someone?


15. Zero – Gravity sleeping by yes-you-am: She took this beautiful drawing: Starchildren made by hopiamanipopcorn and mad some editions and added some text, that’s the perfect example of how we work at HR, remixing, creating and sharing ideas and taking inspiration of somebody else work, Love it, great job as always Yes-you-am.

Music Recommendations: Nowherevillians Arise by Joab Nevo and See through: A remix by aszarkowski: Aszarkowski voice is just beautiful, and I love this song, and Joab’s instrumental Nowherevillians Arise is just perfect, so I have to use them for my RE REC video. I highly recommend both.
