I want to reinvent myself. The power to create, to destroy, it’s in my hands. No matter what, I want to be a good person. You would agree with that, wouldn’t you? But why do I care what you think I become? I call out your name in the dead of the night The monotone voice, asking to leave a message, Appears before you do. Maybe I’ll take my hair and cut it again, Trade all my comics for cigarettes… Gah, that would be too hopeless! At least there’s art in between the pages! In the end, I’m just a loner; All I crave is the feeling of togetherness. When I can’t find it, I hide in my bubble And try to make myself something new. And that’s what I do. Because there may be beauty in the breakdown, But there’s no use for broken toys Unless they get rebuilt, savvy? |
