Hal never wore the same hat two days in a row. He always wore a hat, and it wasn’t always the baseball-cap-because-I’m-too-lazy-to-shower thing that many men his age suffered from. No, Hal owned quite a respectable collection of bowlers, fedoras, pork-pies, Stetsons, derbies, and the like. He even owned one formal top hat (silk, not beaver). Picking his hat for the day could be pure torture, or it could be pure bliss. Today, is a top-hat-type day, Hal thought...but only if it didn't rain. |
