of your past scare you again

into that paralyzed state where

nothing has a happy end

when you look back do you feel bad

about all those resolutions you

broke after only a few days, because

nothing felt more false to you than the truth anyway

I know you've started to believe that

every road just leads to another dead end

so you never let your guard down and

claim you need to be independent

But tell me how alone do you feel in this

overcrowded merry-go-round

there are so many faces looking

as scared as you,but you never ever reach out

Do you really believe you are

a lost cause,but then why do you hang on

If you'd turn around to face

your shadow life you may find out you may be strong
