This is a perfect example of how illustrators can best prepare their work for animators. By separating the layers of their characters into body parts (with varying poses,) providing alternate gestures and expressions, and placing everything over a white background, this speeds up the animation process immensely. Animators can now manipulate the characters with much more ease and the original illustrator has broadened their character with additional elements for the community.
