Walter loved his home the sea

The waves, the peace & majesty

But yet somehow something he lacked

So he tried on a pair of slacks

(which had fallen propitiously

off the cruise ship Destiny)

The cuffs were short by about an inch

But that elastic waistband did not pinch

Room for his keys & phone & wallet at last!

Sorry to say, he became an outcast

So he dropped his pants & rejoined the pod

secretly feeling like a clod

The moral of this fishy tale?
