alright here are just the vocals of my remix of "Young at heart" for re-remix purposes! if you feel like it, do something awesome with this :D (you might hear the piano really quiet, I couldn't get it off, but it's REALLY quiet so I hope it doesn't matter!:D)

Enjoy! :))

That was awesome. I really liked how the T sound in til became like a snare sound after a while. Very well done.

COMMENTS: Great record! This tight little acapella is a fantastic audio resource. I can imagine so much being done with this, I think this record will transcend through genres. I can hear this going well with some surfer rock instrumentation but in the other ear, I can hear this being a great moody electronic track. I would like to hear people add their voices to this track. In a previous comment I mentioned, "I think it would be interesting to hear other voices on this. Like maybe someone, a few octaves lower, could harmonise with one of your melodies, and someone else could perhaps sing a different melody, a few octaves higher over the top of it all." I asked ppeppina to upload the separate melodies to this audio record and she has delivered. You can find these separate melodies in a .zip file entitled 'Young at heart remix vocals' in the results of this record. I think our aim should be to get some instrumentation to accompany this. My challenge to the community is to try and make as many different genre audio records as you can using this stem as a foundation to your track.

todd: thank you for your comment! I think you're right, but I'm just not so comfortable with hearing my voice, especially when I miss notes... but you're right, I shouldn't be afraid of making mistakes... I guess one record with "happy accidents" won't kill me ;D thank you! :)

ppeppina - I've got to tell you - if you missed any notes, and I'm not saying that I agree with you in saying that you did, they were "happy accidents."

All moments of dissonance in this tiny tune resolve to beautiful harmony. You have a beautiful (and I am not trying to be "nice") voice. If you do re-record it for "perfection" put up both versions and let the remixer be the judge - k?

Thank you for the hearts Hemit, bell, tiafischer and mad_dev! thesherbethead, thank you for the instructions! I'm using mac so that really helped. But while doing the .zip, I noticed that I'm singing awfully off the note! so I'll have to record it again - which is why it's taking so long for me to upload it here, sorry! mad_dev, thank you for your comment! it would be awesome :))
