If you had to pick one song to listen to on repeat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Imagine by John Lennon
Name your top ten favorite films (no more, no less, no ties):
If you could hang out with any Hitrecorder for the day, who would it be?
Hard to say… I just got here and all.
What is your current favorite Hitrecord Record (not your own):
I don’t know, I’ve read and heard and seen so many great things from this site. It’s a lame answer, I know, but hopefully soon I will have a favorite.
Name at least one physical attribute that sets you apart from others (I want people to do this because it's important to feel unique and appreciate yourself, no matter how cheesy this sounds!):
(whoops, forgot this when I first posted it) Umm... I have enormous feet. I used to step on the backs of a lot of shoes back in school.
If you had to live the life of a villain for the day, who would you choose?
The Joker, hands down. He’s a very interesting villain, not caring about monetary gain or power… just anarchy. There’s something to be admired about that.
If you could have a drink with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Living or dead? I’m going to assume they can be dead, in which case I would have to pick Ghandi. That probably comes off as such a cliché answer, but I’ve always kind of looked up to someone who could be so non-violent and peaceful. A lot of things these days are solved with violence, even I have done this, and it would be interesting to hear his wise words in person.
Would you rather live in our world, Middle Earth, Alice's Wonderland, or some other crazy world?
A world where Gotham City actually exists.
Aliens or Predators? (if you're unfamiliar with this you can skip it.)
Predator is the best. Dreadlocks and a shoulder gun, what’s not to love?
What's the earliest, most vivid memory you have?
Falling out of a tree and landing on a bed of jagged rocks. Took my breath away for the longest time and I sincerely thought I was going to die.
What's your favorite number and why?
I’ve always liked 13, I think because it’s supposed to be unlucky.
Do you have any superstitions or idiosyncrasies?
Not anymore, I used to be somewhat superstitious but not so much anymore.
If you've seen Inception, do you think he's awake in the end, or not? (This question is more for the sake of debate than anything. I already have my own conclusion, and Christopher Nolan wanted people to wonder and have their own opinion.)
I think he’s still dreaming, but then again I always like unhappy endings.
What's the most appealing scent to you?
Ever since I quit cigarettes (I think it’s been around six months now) I get the chills when I walk passed someone smoking. It’s not the most attractive of smells, but oh does it bring back sweet nicotine-induced memories.
Your favorite book is_____?
Crime and Punishment.
What animal would you be if you had to be one?
Dogs seem to have it pretty good, assuming they have a nice and caring home. Laying around all day eating and sleeping sounds amazing.
Who has made the biggest impression on your life?
I really don’t think there is one person who has made the biggest impression in my life but instead it has been a collaborative effort between friends and family. From my mom I have learned what being resilient really means, she has gone through so much crap it is surprising she’s still around. My uncle is a paranoid gun-nut but he’s got a kind heart and he has taught me a lot. I’m less trusting now because of the actions of past friends. All in all these things have made me who I am today, for better or worse.
You're about to die and you have one wish. Your wish cannot be to save your life and it will affect everyone you leave behind. What's your wish?
For a son. It’s kind of a weird wish, I guess and as much as I would like to say world peace or eternal wealth for my family, I would want to have a son before I died. I suppose when/if I do have kids at some point that wish would change to something more cheesy, like world peace.
What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you?
When I turned eighteen my cousin and I took a drug and alcohol fueled road trip to South Dakota, as we have always been in love with the Badlands and we decided not to tell our family what we were doing. Once we got into the national park we stopped at a gift shop near our campsite to see what they had. We walked in and standing right there was my uncle (my cousin’s dad) and his wife. It was one of the weirdest moments of my life, having traveled that far away from home just to find one of our family members there and it didn’t help that we were high. The whole trip turned out odd, though.
