Here's a Triple M shirt with Sara Nova's ingenious imagery altered ever so slightly with touches of red, and then combined with the glorious fonts of thatsthewayitgoes.
This has been updated with the color white on the panda and gray on the mouse.
I'm playing around with tori's "General Apathy" RECord a bit and seeing what comes of it. The "Download Circle" icon by Marke is also a great way to integrate the brand's red circle and it also supplies a useful "platform" to put images that otherwise may float on the shirt.
I'm a substitute teacher and my elementary school students really enjoy when I draw the lessons on the board.
Here is a recent one I did involving Abraham Lincoln, the Statue of Liberty, and the Liberty Bell.
Today I taught 3rd graders how to write "R" in cursive. The word example on my instructional sheet, ironically, was "RECord."
I made up an excuse to do the "Rec" in red by saying I wanted to emphasize how the "r" goes smoothly into the letters "e" and "c."
They bought it.
Then I scored this snapshot.
I did this small poster (had to do it pretty low-res due to the Resource photo I used) of my favorite quote from the show on the 16th: "Let's forget about time" from Sean Ono Lennon.
It was subtle, and quickly spoken, but sometimes that's when statements have their most impact. It really stayed with me these past few days and I wanted to put it on a RECord to share with everyone.
An old marker sketch I did of a man that reminded me of a visiting martian.
I received a sketch book back in college going back a few years and I really need to get back into it.
Here is an exaggerated caricature of Brad Pitt as Lieutenant Aldo Raine from Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds."
I did this pen and ink drawing of Sean Lennon to add to the "Nebulullaby" collaboration.
Maybe this could be used in some promotional images or future art for the video. Perhaps it could be used for animation?
This is a sketch I did of Matt Dillon as Rusty James in Coppola's "Rumble Fish."
Abbie Hoffman hit RECord in front of enormous crowds.
My choice Abbie quote would have to be:
"Free speech means the right to shout 'theatre' in a crowded fire."
I did this quick cartoon sketch of my friend Billy lighting up a cigarette.
I did a pen sketch of the White Rabbit, as depicted in the original "Alice In Wonderland" book.
One thing is for sure, Hunter S. Thompson hit RECord in his day.
This is the second Sean Lennon pen and ink drawing I've done. I resourced the original.
I definitely prefer the first drawing, but I wanted to provide several choices for anyone that may find a place to remix any of these.
This is a marker sketch I did of Brando as Colonel Walter E. Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now."
I recently compiled a list of the Top 10 monologues in movie history - just for the hell of it - and I almost had Brando's "Ohio River" speech crack the front five. What an amazing performance he gave, despite the contradictory nature of his on-set behavior.
In all the years since '79 rarely has the screen felt the presence and awe Brando created with that very peculiar performance.
I believe Harvey Milk would have been very proud of hitRECord's "You Can't Turn the Light Off." He definitely hit RECord in his lifetime.
A framed drawing of an evil cigarette smoking character I drew.
A framed drawing of a freedom fighter I drew.
I took the illustration from "The Walrus and the Carpenter" public domain post by ntheon and integrated the characters into a still photo from Mister B. This can definitely be built on, perhaps made into a book cover or some kind of Lewis Carroll RECord.
Definitely a rough draft version. I'm still conflicted as to where the logo should be placed and if its font sizing is correct. But you have to start somewhere...
What happens when you move the "C" in "CREATE" to the right of the "E" and color in the "C," "R," and "E" red?
This probably could use a graphic to make it more eye-catching and less of just a play on words.
Maybe horrorshock's "RECrobot" should be added?
I drew some artwork of Richard Nixon for my Tiny Story "Options."
Today I taught some 8th graders a history lesson involving Henry Hudson and the Native Americans of New York. I threw in some fictional dialogue.

I'm subtitling this unofficial "awkward interview" sequel "v1" because it NEEDS TO BE REmixed HEAVILY!!!!!
I wanted to include some dialogue between Jared, Joe, and wirrow but I essentially wanted to put the drawings into some kind of context for the initial upload. I had this cartoon follow wirrow's "awkward interview" in which Joe gets all "California Rush"-ed out because wirrow won't reveal the secret of the Tiny Stories.
I just brainstormed that idea while fuckin around at work. I know all of you guys out there can think of a much better scenario for this.
Here are some suggestions for graphic design REmixers:
* Change the dialogue and add dialogue bubbles or thought bubbles
* Insert background(s) (I was thinking it'd be cool to give Jared and Joe a realistic background and wirrow more of a cartoonish one - or vice versa to mix things up)
* Add color, shadows, etc.
* REmix in other images (characters, photos, other drawings) from hitRECord
* And perhaps these characters could be animated in some way and given voices?
Note: The image is high-res. Just download it for the high-res file.

Here is my drawing of jared by itself for REmixing purposes.
Here is my drawing of wirrow by itself for REmixing purposes.
Here is my drawing of InsaneJOE by itself for REmixing purposes.
At the REquest of Mr. Ryan Patrick, here is my "half slacker/half slacked self-portrait" for REmixing purposes.
horrorshock's portrait is up next... Just gotta draw it first before I upload it. :o
A philosophical discussion ensues during a fireside poker match-up between wirrow and I. Maybe some REmixers can roll in and play with this? It could use some colors, a background, more props, a sky, and maybe different dialogue and additional characters? Oh... and animation?
Here is my drawing of horrorshock666i for REmixing purposes.
Completing my hitRECord training on Degobah.
I present to you The Made Shop, circa 2015.
Channing Tatum as the villainous Lionel from "The Zeppelin Zoo."
Part of a literary wall mural I am painting for school. I felt compelled to throw in at least one character from the Public Domain.
I thought the cartoon characters in andrombe's "Okay, Maybe They'd be Kinda Cute..." were cool so I wanted to add to the series. In this one a wife proposes divorce, stating they should "see Otter People."
Here's a drawing of how I envisioned The Magician in Part One of wirrow's "reverse magic" to look like: a bit old fashioned, a bit brooding, and totally sporting a tux and white gloves.
This is in rough draft, disproportional form as of now. The left side of the face looks like it got punched by a big dude and got super swollen. haha
"Part One. The magician is on stage..."
A public service announcement from this guy.
I drew an interpretation of a member of "the glow gang" from wirrow's Tiny Story. I envisioned the gang member exhibiting a bit of high end fashion whilst carrying a very retro boombox up to his ear.
* Note: This is much more of a foreground drawing. I think a heavily decayed background in very thin lines would really make this pop a bit more. Maybe an artist could jump in on this and craft something behind the character? ;)
I drew an interpretation of "Imaginary Bob" from starkjanus' Tiny Story. I envisioned him as more of a valour-sweatsuit-wearing-swindler kind of imaginary friend.
* Note: I wanted to incorporate only a little bit of the car in the background, but I think that turned out pretty lousy. Maybe a graphic designer could extract Bob from this and put him into a cooler-looking background with a car and maybe some neighborhood scenery. ;)
Did a quick sketch of Mr. Redford in the REC Room at Sundance for the "Illustrated History of hitRECord."
This could go in Frame 7.
Dr Gory : The Man With the E-E-E / X-X-X / 3-3-3.
An illustration for Frame 7 where it says "Jared stands on New York, stressed out on the phone."
Here's an illustration of Marke that could go in Frame 8.
I think wirrow sent me the wrong book in the mail. :0
...THANKS, DUDE!!!
Artwork for JonMac's "tiny story - LGM"
The kids shined flashlights at the moon to signal the little green men who lived there.
Years later, the little green men came down to visit, but nobody believed in them any more.
* Note: This could definitely use a revamped UFO in the background.
Artwork for "The Trash Collectors: A Tiny Story."
Day after day George and Martha picked up the trash at the grounds where people play.
But tomorrow was to be different, for they would scoop up the polluters. And throw them away.
Artwork for "Like Ants, We're Marching: A Tiny Story."
I did a little soul-searching on a stroll through the sidewalks of the surreal city.
Walking beside me was an ant, presumably on the same existential journey.
And I wondered if we were listening to the same song on our headphones.
Artwork for "Godard: A Tiny Story."
Studios used to give Godard a camera and let him go shoot whatever he wanted. I just got my camera online.
Frank couldn't get a date.
His friends and family blamed his hideous mustache.
He blamed his goblin ears.
Here is the art only of "Goblin Ears: a tiny story" in case anyone wants to play around with the drawing or alter the text, etc.
Don't shoot the messenger...
...unless you want to deal with their union.
Here is the art only of "The Messenger: A Tiny Story" in case anyone wants to play around with the drawing or alter the text, etc.
Perhaps this skeletal dude could be incorporated into artwork for a Tiny Story involving, say, skeletons.
Jimmy Tuck sketched with booze & cigarettes.
But he only drew blanks.
_____________________________________________________________________________
REmixed MadisenMusic's "Tiny Story: Jimmy Tuck" and focused more on the "drawing blanks" concept.
Ways to add on to this could be to create an art studio that he's in, or create an easel in front of him. Just some initial thoughts...
Here's a mock-up of one way to illustrate "Shady Shadow: TIny Story."
I like the overall arrangement and the characters (so far.) The text and the quote bubble could use some work (i.e. better placement and style.)
Perhaps the character has a prop or two (a briefcase with money leaking out of it a bit, or something suggestive of theft or whatever.)
The gun the shadow is holding could use some work too (looks like he is pointing as it's drawn now.)
Basically this is a rough sketch just to play around with if anyone's interested...

The invincible stock broker happened to be dead inside.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Based this concept a bit on jamignott's "Tiny Story: Death is Obvious." Originally it was going to be the zombie-like character (with business exterior) saying "blah, blah, blah *croak*" but then I shifted the concept a bit.
This is definitely more of a mock-up rough draft; I'd love to see others' take on this.
Updated the previous version of this, "Invincibility: Tiny Story," with new artwork (based on work by The MOCKery) and replaced the stock broker character with a lawyer. Slight text revision as well.
Another idea for text would be: "In the courtroom the lawyer was invincible... but dead inside."
Thought I'd do something a bit diabolical for Dee's diabolical "Clowns" Tiny Story. zeogle had some wonderful illustrations to remix in his "Circus Sketches" RECord.
Note: I left the text at the bottom so that the main imagery at the top would be easily remixable.
An illustration for MRT's Tiny Story "Robert." I decided to only show the side of his body with two arms rather than an entire figure so that it segued into the text more.
Robert by MRT
My friends always call me Octokid but I only have three arms. They should just call me Robert.
Horns are so 1200 B.C.
Note: I can upload just the artwork (no text) if anybody wants to remix it in any way. :)
An illustration for Ericar's Tiny Story "Zombie Gentlemen."
Zombie Gentlemen by Ericar
Zombies are such gentlemen. They love you for your brain.
Elspeth had requested the art only file of "Horns." Et voila!
Don't worry. The pollution got me long ago.
An illustration for MadisenMusic's "Tiny Story: Hursery."
Tiny Story: Hursery
Ok I'll admit, I have a few skeletons in my closet; but they weren't skeletons when I put them there.
Wanted this envelope illustration to look innocent and yet slightly deranged at the same time.
I figured an animation could derive from the area where his hands form the heart shape. Perhaps a beam of hearts could begin to form and glow or something?
This resource will be popping up in my RE-REC video this Sunday.
And remember... Sundays are for RE-RECs. ;)
The RE-RECing Heart Guy is primed for the Fall Formal, and it should be noted that the top hat and tux don't make him any less of a prick.
Experiencing "RECollection" makes me feel like I'm 3 years old - all over again.

Here is a transparent .png file of JacksonBlack's "Tiny Story-Wicked Witch" illustration. This should help animators a bit. :)
A pen and ink interpretation of the "Patterns & Prayers" performance at the "Hit RECord on Halloween" show in New York City.
The postman finally started wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Thought it would be interesting to illustrate LukeC's "Aviator" character as a young pilot.
Here is a transparent .PNG file for everyone to play around with.
A (transparent) homage to the color bars of televisions.
Video-wise this may look cool with added static or the ol' "Bad TV" filter on FCP.
Bar (transparent) coded.
Looks like there is a little more erasing that needs to be done toward the top before it is potentially usable. :/
no (typography) computing.

Colored in dreamcoach's garden knife for a "LRRH" cutaway early on.
It's a transparent .png file now, as well.

Here is a VISUAL REFERENCE for ILLUSTRATORS and ANIMATORS re: "Make-Up Sex: A Tiny Film."
> ILLUSTRATION NOTES:
* The LIPSTICK and MASCARA characters are in super rough draft form, but the elements of their characters are represented in this doodle.
* The overall lay-out of the HOTEL ROOM is present in the drawing (lamp with red lace over it, dissheveled bed, clothes tossed everywhere, cigarette smoke, tacky hotel decorations.)
> ANIMATION NOTES:
* The shot is in one take. It's a pull back from either the lamp with red lace over it (if that ends up working out as a resource) or a pull back from the cigarette in Lipstick's hand.
* Lipstick is going to be puffing smoke as she looks unimpressed with what transpired. She isn't angry, just looks like she wants to be somewhere else entirely.
* One element I really want to see make it into the animations is the Lipstick holding the bedsheets over her torso. I always think it's funny when there's a post-sex bed scene in a movie and the woman is holding the sheets up. It's just something I find to be a funny cliche.
* The rack focus from Lipstick to Mascara occurs about halfway through the animation. The background will go completely blurry as Mascara comes into focus. He droops forward, pathetically putting his face into his hands, as he comes into focus. He wallows in shame in the final moments.
* The concluding moments of the animation should be a pull-back out of a cosmetics case to reveal that's where the hotel is located. Much thanks to Metaphorest for the suggestion!

A dude on his day off.
Perhaps someone has some text for this drawing or would want to animate it?
The Sherbethead and I, letting you know what's up.
I put together this title card conceopt after being inspired by Proi's "A Modest Proposal (Handwritten)" record. Just wanted to remix her concept and see if others could take this idea further.
I remixed caceth's "Scrimp N' Save (lineart)" into a marquee graphic .png for the Summer Collection.
This would probably have to be grayscaled due to all of the colors, but here's the colorized version as a reference.
Here is the Black & White version of "Spiked Tank."
