We live in a world full of hatred and pain,

Our government argues and our soldiers fight,

People are killed for loving, that's insane,

It seems that logic has vanished from sight.

We are all equal, that's what they preach,

But this statement is far from reality,

I am not gay, but this issue concerns me,

Because love, not hate, is what they should teach,

We must put a stop to this pointless brutality,

I know that we are all supposed to be equal and free.
