Sometimes I wonder if my dog could be a nice person, or any dog.. yours maybe. (the answer is YES)
Hey everyone! I have been off for awhile so I thought I would pop on here, slap two shots of this awesome dog and my buddies hat, then check for some new uploads out there. How is everyone's night?
Our dog Lilly for the Woofpet collaboration.
Indie is my parents' dog and our first. A little while after we got her, we welcomed a rambunctious little boy into our house in the form of a bouncy Boston, and I named him Jackson. :) Never in my life have I met such an entertaining animal. He's a clown, really. :)
Meet Indie, the inspiration behind my handle. She's a year and a half-old Australian cattle dog with lots of smarts, personality and love to give. :) When I first created this username is when we were training hardcore with her, so I would keep praising her and "Good girl, Indie" soon became my favourite phrase. :)
'Eleu means energetic, lively and to be filled with curiosity/wonder... After 14 years together he passed away in October of '09... I miss him dearly. Just wanted to share this photo because, all these amazing photographs of dogs (woofpets) has REALLY got me missing him. I consider myself blessed to have shared such a wonderful friendship with him :) I'll love him forever.
Sorry the scanner is a piece of shit so the photo has extra odd spots...
OMG, the Magster wears one of her ears back like that a lot... And on the same side! I don't get it. I'll put it back down like it should be and a few minutes later, she has it folded back like that again. Do they hear more with one of them folded back like that or something, or is it just the new style that all the cool dogs are wearing now?
This is Marley. Like Macy, she also came from a kill shelter in Tennessee. When I got her she was a little older than Macy, around 4 months old, had an awful case of worms and she had clearly previously lived in a situation where she was abused as she's still quite scared of men with deep voices or anyone who lunges at her too quick. She's a gorgeous dog, and can run at the speed of light. It's actually kind of hypnotizing to watch her sprint around and weave in and out of trees. This is one of my favorite pictures of her as a puppy :)
This is my very first baby. Vemelope Sweetie Pie Lover Lamb Chop aka "Mel" for short. She was named after my 4 yr old cousins imaginary friend the time. Mel is a Miniature Dachshund and has THE MOST personality of any dog I've ever owned. She makes me laugh on a daily basis.
My friend's dog Molly posing by a guitar. She might be the smallest grown dog I have ever seen in my life.
This is my little Macy. Macy is a rescue dog from a kill shelter in Tennessee and she came to live with me all the way up in NY, along with one other dog from the same shelter. She has the most precious face ever. And she has mastered the "Huh?" head tilt!
My dog Abbey (on the left) and her pal Cali (right) sprint across a field, without a care in the world; the way it should be for all of us, right?
valentine's day is made more lovely because it's my first ever dog's bday. he turns 11 this year (which means 11 years ago i was in my freshman year of high school-yikes!) so here, in his honor, is a picture of him trying to eat a puppy.
for the record though, he's never hurt a soul. he just makes this face and they back off.
happy birthday dante!
My dog Abbey gets awoken and ices me out with her weary eyes.
She would return to sleep moments later.
A portrait I took of my dog Abbey.
My friend Bill holds Molly, the smallest fully grown dog I have ever seen.
My dog Abbey sports the finest in dog sweater fashion during a walk through the woods in winter.
New puppy taking comfort in the good old St. Bernard.
My dog is just not a dog.
There's something oddly special about her.
not a video but i couldn't help but contribute this photo of my dog. tongue to nose is her favorite pose. probably will post a video later
This is my sleepy dog Charlie, adopted from North Shore Animal League, taken in 2007.
This is my dog Valentine.
I found a cool tree with low branches while hiking. I was sitting on a branch watching the sunset over Corvallis, Oregon and my dog, Candi, decided to join me.
shelter dog, rescue animals.
This dog was named Charlotte, she won my heart at the animal shelter I volunteer at. She was ultimately euthanized. I wish I could have saved her.
Animals are so beautiful in a way that humans can only hope to be.
My dog Toby after a hard day
Toby sleeping in his bed after frolicking outside
This is a photo of my grandfather Jack, it was probably taken at around 1917 or 1918.
It's quite hard to sum up all my feelings about this photo. Jack and I were extremely close and I miss him terribly. I think it's a beautiful photo, in fact it's probably my favourite picture of him... I just wish I knew the dog's name!
felt like doing something for this most amazing dog.
Dogs
I love recording dogs in pictures. I try to capture their emotions on paper.
This is my absolute favorite shot of my little Macy from Tennessee, the shelter pup as a little baby, and oh so tiny! She came to live with me when she was only 7 weeks old and was afraid of almost everything. Her favorite spot to be was directly under foot and was always looking to be cuddled. This is a shot only a couple days into Macy's new life with me, exploring the back yard, curiouser and curiouser...
My sister's puppy, Dougie. This is his very first winter, and I just had to capture him playing in the snow.
was bored and decided to use some back lighting for some pictures with my pup
cute puppy in the shadows of aring trees
This is the cutest puppy I've ever met. Took a photo of it while filming a story on water conservation in Kitui, Kenya.

This is my child Blue on the day we met.

it hardly gets better.

A little cutie I met on 2nd and Cherry Street in Downtown Seattle...
Pagan, the Heideggarian Dog.
I should clarify.
Pagan is the adorable Irish sheep dog(?) of my absolute favorite professor, Randall Havas. Prof Havas is a professor of Philosophy at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
The course was Heidegger Being in Time, the dog was adorable.
"temporal necessity."
This is Rufus and he was sleepy so I figured I could add him to the Go To Bed Collab
Some of my previous work that i took down from here a while ago, and i dont quite know why...
I like to mix the real with the imaginary to encourage imagination...
Sometimes I need a reminder of the simple things in life. This smile is my sun. She's there for me with a full heart, both on a perfect day or on a day that feels as if the world is almost too heavy to bear. She's there to love me unconditionally for who I am, no matter what happens.
I explained what this photo was on V3, but for those of you who weren't here then I'll explain it again. It is a combination of a photo of my Mom sitting on the couch with a towel around her head and my dog's face (and paws) edited in.
this dog goes through more toys than you could possibly imagine. on the first day he gets them he chews a hole in them and rips out the stuffing!
My puppy likes to smell flowers.
Beastly bubbles at that...
I think this little one is from that same planet, heartgeek. : )
This is another stolen moment... You can see her surprise.
this is what happens when I stand around too long trying to take super macro photos of leaves (which turned out beautifully i must say) while walking my 3 dogs...
He's scaled up since this picture was taken.
four little legs, one big heart <3
We're alway sleeping in and sleeping for the wrong team.
My dog underneath the table. I thought it was cute!
For the dog lovers out there...this is my dog Olivia when she was about a year and before my husband made me give her a puppy cut. She's 7 now, but still rocks a topknot.
My dog Abbey passively ignores a group of fenced in alpacas at a local farm.
A sequel to "Rock Jumping."
My dog Scout likes to lie down all exhausted under the front seat of the car after our daily trek through the woods.
For the "My Heart..." Collabo
The absolute cutest and most retarded dog in the world but I love her more than anything.
I saw these dogs while on a mission trip in Vietnam. It was tough catching photos that were in focus because the dogs were super excited to see people. This one in particular stood out to me.
A shot of me blending into the leaves all around me.
* This might be a good image to make transparent for a Portrait Madness collaboration project.
Toby watching through the fence as I walk away.
I think the theme is red..
my dog Michelle... who is the official queen of pestering for walks.
my fav picture of her so far... out of millions, haha.
another b&w of my handsome 'Eleu
This is "Butch" aka/Buddy in the snow, he loved SNOW! Photo by Bill Mealbach
Hahaha I take a lot of random photos of my dog, India. This one always makes me laugh.
A little incident that happens right in my backyard.
