A Collection of my city TLs.
I enjoy seeing things grow
This is a test a friend and I made one summer day/night in New York.
Let me know what you think.
This bumper was made after Banksy made his presence known in Park City. I animated two photographs of his local work together. Then during our Remarks session on the 24th, Joe brought two people up from the audience to RECord voiceovers for the two characters. Finally, we wanted to show how close one of the Banksy pieces was to the REC Room, so Joe decided to RECord the journey.
no editing on this, so have fun with it! (it's very rough, i know.)
More clouds, violently whipping deciduous foliage....
More time lapse clouds, wind whipping a tree... this is all just raw stuff, so please chop chop chop it up and use it as you will...
This is the view from my living room which faces Coit Tower in San Francisco. The church is St. Peter & Paul.
This is a HDR TL of downtown San Francisco and the bay taken from my secret spot on Telegraph Hill.
9 second Time Lapse video of Golden Gate Bridge at Sunrise
This is the Coppola Building in San Francisco (Yes, owned by Francis Ford Coppola). It is one of my favorite buildings in the world which is why I can't help shooting it from many perspectives. For me, this is like a mini fireworks show.
This is Kearny Street in SF. I was playing a little with the levels in After Effects.
This was taken at the Carnelian Room in the B of A building in downtown San Francisco. Too bad the place closed because the views were amazing. I love seeing the city and traffic from a higher perspective. Hope someone can use it! Bloemday?
Here's a Sunday afternoon Time Lapse from Alamo Park in SF. And, in typical SF fashion, it was sunny and warm and then the fog started rolling in.
I went to Dolores Park this afternoon because the temp was 68 in SF and I knew that the park would be packed. I've been wanting to do more time lapses' of peeps and activities. Yes, its over-saturated, but I thought it would bring it more to life. Surely, one of my fellow HitRECorders would be able to use it.
Just returned from my summer holiday in Oslo, Norway. Here's a little Time Lapse memento for my HitRECord peeps of the newly constructed Oslo Opera House right along the Oslo Fjord. Music by the Great tonguecutsparrow.
Here's a traffic time lapse of Columbus & Montgomery in downtown SF. (For your mixing pleasure)
13 sec Time Lapse video of the Bay Bridge overlooking San Francisco in the evening.
I did this Time Lapse while on a plane leaving Philly and heading to Oslo, Norway. I couldn't bust out my tripod, so these are 150 photos hand held which I streamed together in After Effects. I thought it would be a useful RECord.
Here's a pier side Time Lapse of Ghirardelli and Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Not sure what happened to the last frame, but I think it can still be used. Bloemday?
Here's the inside of the Broadway Tunnel in SF. I heard that the city recently spent $200K to clean and wax the tiles. Shiney eh?
Just did this the other night. Its the Broadway Tunnel in SF. Thought it could be a fun RECord for you editors out there!
This is the Merry-Go-Round at Pier 39 @ Fisherman's Wharf in SF.
A couple Ferries leaving the Ferry Building in SF. That's the Bay Bridge in the background. I ran it a little longer because there was a blimp coming into the shot.
View of Downtown SF from a gray afternoon to twilight.
I did this TL last weekend over Clearlake, CA. I've done a lot of stargazing in my life...but really, have you seen so many stars? This is part of the Milky Way with at least two shooting stars. Do you see more? Thought it would be a fun RECord to remix! PS...Thank you so much my fellow HitRECorders for all your positive comments about my TL's appearing in last night's amazing viewing of SITC! I am so grateful to you all for accepting my own form of strange "so called" artwork!!!
Evening commuter traffic along the Embarcadero in San Francisco....that's the Bay Bridge.
9 sec Time Lapse of evening traffic in downtown San Francisco
I took this on a cold and wet Friday evening in San Francisco.
This is the corner of Union and Mason in San Francisco ... my hood. A quiet Sunday night in the city.
Here's a crisp clear San Francisco sunrise. For you photographers, this is HDR rendered to even out the light of the bright sun. 1911 still photos shown in 20 seconds. I got so excited when I saw the cargo ships coming in and out!

This was a long project for me...I stitched 3 different fog scenes of the GGB together. It's roughly 420 pictures...
15 minutes in 13 seconds....Who doesn't love a great fireworks show?
We just had a heat wave here in SF; it got up to 101 and then cooled 30 degrees when the fog started to roll in.
Here's a dusk to night Time Lapse of the Seattle Skyline taken from West Seattle. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the Space Needle in my frame, but I think I got a lot of other fun visuals.
Here's a night time shot of my North Beach neighborhood with Coit Tower and St. Peter and Paul Church in the background. Coit Tower is draped in orange to celebrate the SF Giant's being in the playoffs.
Here's a Time Lapse of Green Street in Russian Hill looking down towards North Beach. It was in the mid 80's here today and just a clear and most comfortable evening for some photography! Thank God for Indian Summers!
I took this photo last night while walking my dog in my neighborhood. A few "glasses of wine" later, this is what I came out with in AE. I mixed in one of my most favorite evening Time Lapses'.....Hopefully one of you Halloween mixers can use it.
Here's a Time Lapse dusk to night over downtown San Francisco taken from Portrero Hill the other night. It was actually a clear night, but decided to add in some rain in AE.
Here's a low res dusk to night Time Lapse of the Bay Bridge with the full moon coming up in the background. Audio by lava_tornado
Here's a morning Time Lapse of the Golden Gate Bridge taken yesterday, 2/24/11 at 6:48am. Audio is by the awesome, Tonguecutsparrow. My favorite part is when I saw the cargo ship coming into my frame!
An Easter lily blooming...
I'm so glad this stayed in my frame...
My neighbor gave me this cactus because he knows I am a "Time Lapser". This was a quick and oh so fun bloomer; it took only 24 hours! I did it with a blue background for a nature project that I'm working on, but keyed out to black in AE.
I had this plant in my garage for over a week; it took forever to bloom. I know I kinda cut it short, but I was getting ansy. The small blinking throughout the bloom is this tiny spider that lived on the flower. Does anyone know the name? I accidently threw away the name tag.
With all the spring flowers starting to pop, I couldn't resist the daffodil!
These are one of my favorites! Hopefully someone can use this somewhere. Bloemday or ntheon - what about behind one of those gorgeous fairies?
So I had this in my home studio for the last week. I really wanted to capture the beautiful Cherry Blossom Trees that are blooming along my block. Enjoy!
A Time lapse video of a blooming stargazer lily from the side and a frontal view
I know its fast, but the flower opened up so quickly!
I started this Time Lapse last night. This is what I got this morning. I didn't realize how much these suckers move. It brought a smile to my face and hope it will bring a smile to yours too. Stay tuned for the blooming poppy version....
Time Lapse of a Stargazer lily from bud to full bloom.
Yesterday, my husband bought me a bouquet of flowers. The stargazer caught my eye so I needed to sneak it into my TL studio...
This is what happened in 30 hours...
Here's another spring flower blooming. I left some open space for possible text.
Ok, so this is the same cactus that I RECorded awhile ago, but I decided to render a Zoomed version. Stay tuned because the Super Zoomed Version will follow..
Here's an even closer look at a cactus blooming, well, Time Lapse -wise that is!
Well Spring is finally here and that means its time for some Time Lapse blooming flowers....enjoy! Hope you all have a great day! <3
Here's a time lapse of some blooming daffodils that I did this past week. Enjoy!
