This Collab is a little different. Instead of RECords, what I am asking people to contribute is Albums. This is the place for your well-thought-out collections of useful goodies. If your Album is useful to you, it probably is to your fellow HitRECorders also.

Your Albums can be collections of your own RECords but they can also be other people's RECords, or any combination. Whatever you can dream up. You can even create Albums of other Albums. (In fact, I highly recommend it.)

What you are contributing with your Album is your choices in collecting and organizing things. The more organized and considered your selections, the better.

I will also add Albums from this collab into my Album called "The Candy Store" (The featured RECord), so that people can find Albums by topic. Together that Album and this Collab will be one gigantic search resource for the entire HitRECord community, to browse great RECords that we can all REmix with.

The Candy Store (Resources...

Don't you just love huge collections of stuff you can grab and use as you please! I know I feel like a kid in a candy store when I find collections like that.

This album is a "candy store" where you go to shop for the finest raw ingredients to mix into your own work. In this store, you will find raw ingredients (textures, symbols, sound effects, stock photographs, background music tracks, public domain stuff, etc) that could be remixed into in a wide variety of other projects.

A good store is well organized into departments to make things easy to find. So this candy store is a meta-album, an album consisting solely of other albums. Please feel free to suggest other albums for inclusion here, or even create new resource albums for inclusion here.

As an experiment, I decided to do this as an album rather than a collab, mainly so that I can grab great stuff into the collection as soon as I see it, rather than having to request other people to add their work.
