A New Earth All Round

I was inspired by MERYLtastic's A New Earth Visual Poem, where she did something very similar to this, where the poem is shaped to a globe. She said to freel free to play around, and I have played with fonts and colour! The closer to the end of the poem you get, the more diverse the fonts are, although I don't know how well that comes across.


And of course, I couldn't have done it without the transcription!


UPDATE 10th Jan 2012:
I'm going to go ahead and contribute this to the New Earth Typography collab started by RegularJoe. I know this RECord isn't what he was asking for (i.e. it's not separate lines to be used individually as titles) but because it is typography, it seemed appropriate, somehow. Maybe it will foster ideas? Or help in some way? At any rate, I thought it couldn't hurt.

    Did you try using the "+" sign on the left bottom corner of your record? That is how it is done now. You no longer add it directly to the collab - you add it by clicking on the little "+" sign and under "add to collaboration" you can do a search for the collab there and then press the "+" sign on the right of the box. I hope this helps!

    If it won't let you add this to the collab, you can add the collab as a resource. I've been having trouble myself with submitting existing records to collabs, and this seems to do the trick. :)

    Oops, no, I hadn't seen your previous note! I have just gone over and tried to add this as an existing record, but there's a bit of a glitch and it won't 'search' for the record so I can add it. And I just got a face full of raw code, too, so I think somethings up! I'll go back and try again later. Thanks for the suggestion!!

    Thank you, everyone, for your recs! As many others do, I adore the poem, and am happy that I have managed to create something nice with it.
