When I heard both aszarkowski and themetafictionist's fantastic readings of A New Earth, I thought it might be interesting to try to line them up and have a double-female reading.


I don't usually edit audio, but I figured out how to chop them both up and re-align them to each other — and also brought back in some of the machine-style aesthetics.

    I cloned aszarkowski earlier today before I had heard the metafictionist version. Then, I thought of mixing them too, but figured I would leave that for someone else to do.

    Wow... this is really cool. I can imagine this being really powerful with additional voices at certain parts. It almost would give it a Greek Chorus feel to it...

    Wow, layering just these two vox makes it sound so much more powerful. There’s now this non-human/digital quality to it which is cold.. and I think this coldness kinda works well with the content. Beautiful job :D
