Favorite Hitrecorder: Metaphorest

There is a lot of fantastic hitrecorders in this community, singers, photographers, “remixers”, writers, video editors;  I have to say that I can call “friend” to a lot of you, we have amazing artists here, so  it was very hard for me to choose just one person as my favorite hitrecorder, but at the end, I chose Metaphorest for a lot of reasons: she is amazing, she is always supporting me and everyone else, she is very talented, creative and the most important thing, she is a wonderful person, she was one of the first hitrecorders that I met when I joined Hitrecord for the first time the last year, and she was very supportive and nice with me, so thanks meta for always been such a wonderful person and I am so glad that I can call you my friend, keep doing your magic, I am proud of you and I am sure that you are always going to succeed because you are just AMAZING and you deserve the best! Favorite Tiny Story: summer hobby. (A tiny story) by thedustdancestoo  

This is just a beautiful tiny story, there is a lot of amazing Tiny Stories at Hitrecord this year, but for me this is the number one, and the most amazing thing is that a lot of people contribute with wonderful illustrations , pictures and videos that were fantastic as well, so that’s why this Tiny is my favorite. Favorite video/Animation: 

It was really hard to decide for just one, so I have to choose 2 favorite videos:

Into Midnight by Marielv: For me MarielV is one of the best animators that we have at HR, she is very talented and she have a lot of amazing animations and videos but this one is my favorite so far, she have 251 hearts, yes! That’s’ right, And they are very well deserved, this animation is just outstanding, and for me she is just in another level, so marielv’s Into midnight is my favorite video/animation!!!! Falling by 12.42: Since 12.42 joined Hitrecord he is always doing amazing videos and he have fantastic ideas, I just love this video, the original is really great but the amazing additions that he made for this video were just perfect! It was uploaded on November 05, 2011

Favorite collaboration: Shadow Beings by Attilee  

The lovely and now very famous shadows, I just remember when Soupy and Attilee started to talk about the Shadows at the Tiny Chat, they started to talk about the different type of shadows and we all agreed that they have to start a collab, and voilà the shadows were created and since that day, they are being an important part of this community, I love everything about this little guys so the Shadow Beings collab is my favorite. It was created in January 22, 2011

Favorite song or VO:  Song: Plot of the Bots by Ozie  

It was another hard decision to make, because we have a lot of amazing musicians, composers and songs at Hitrecord, but it was a song that since the first time that I listen to this, I just Love it and I am talking about: Plot of the Bots by Ozie, This song is just full of power, emotions and rhythm, I have it in my ipod and everytime I listen to this, I just want to dance and jump around my room LOL! So, this song is my favorite of the year 2011. It was uploaded on September 01, 2011

Blbest is a fantastic writer, in fact, he have a fans club (I am a member by the way)  :O) I think that we all are in love with the way he writes, he have a lot of amazing and beautiful poems and writings but this one is my favorite, it’s just perfect, is very romantic, sweet and I think that any woman in this world would be happy if someone wrote something like that for her. Favorite Remix: 

Well, it was probably one of the awards that gave me more headaches, it was very hard to pick just one favorite because we have a lot of amazing and talented remixers at HR, my favorites are like 5, but I knew that I have to choose one or 2 as most, so I choose 2 hitrecorders that for me are experts in Remixes and they have a lot of talent and an amazing amount of wonderful pieces that speak for themselves, they are Belcath1981 and Bloemday, they are really fantastic and I love all their work, So I have to decide for just one of their remixes ( it was very hard because they have a lot) and these were the winners:

Favorite event or holiday:

Hitrecord on Halloween

Halloween, one of my favorite holidays of the year, and RegularJOE made a collab about this spooky and scary day, there were a lot of fantastic collaborations, videos, music, pictures, remixes, and we also had an event at New York City the Halloween night, so, this was my favorite event-Holiday so far, I think that we all enjoyed making spooky records and having fun at the event and at the site.

Wonderful Chaos by xobreexo23 for BlackBook Magazine Collab

It was one of my favorite collaborations this year, the Black Book magazine Collab, a lot of people contribute with fantastic remixes, pictures and drawings but this one was my favorite, Bree made this amazing remix of one of joe’s pictures and this was the result, ohh and she have 508 hearts, awesome isn’t it?, this is a fantastic and very well done editing, in fact this was featured at the magazine. Another very hard decision to make, we have a lot of talented photographers and illustrator at hitrecord, so I divided this category in 3: favorite illustration, favorite drawing and Favorite Picture:

Joe VS the Copyright Bots by Lawrie Brewster, 415 hearts ladies and gentlemen, yes, you read that right, this is FANTASTIC, this is pure art, Lawrie did an amazing job putting all of this together and the result was PERFECTION! Bravo!!!! Uploaded on August 30, 2011

Favorite Picture: 

Another world by saintmaker: Saintmaker is not only a published author but also he is a fantastic photographer, he has a lot of wonderful pictures and texts at Hitrecord, but this one is my favorite and also is my favorite of 2011, this picture is breathtaking and the colors are just perfect, these are probably some of the reasons why this picture has 63 hearts. :o) It was uploaded on October 15, 2011.

Favorite Drawing:

Urth ~ colour by gwy: Another difficult decision here, because there is a lot of amazing artists here: cat-cat, Danah, MellonBerri and others, but gwy is always been one of my favorites, she always made fantastic drawings and also she is very supportive with everyone, she helped me with an illustration for one of my tiny stories, so she is the winner of this category, I especially love this drawing that she made for wirrow’s Creation myth and A New heaven. It was uploaded on November 03, 2011
