Things didn't go well

Fred wound up in hell

Having a turnip head was his sin

He thought it unfair

And he did loudly declare

"A farce! A travesty times ten!"

Then looking around

He disturbingly found

He was far from being alone

Pastinaca sativa

He couldn't believa

"Help me," the parsnip did moan

Cauliflower and kale

All burning in hell

Vegetables whereever he turned

Beta vulgaris

Even asparagus

Oh how they burned and they burned

Fred was so frightened

But also enlightened

As to why he'd gone to the devil

The children were right

To Satan's delight

All veggies are terribly evil.
