How his face was mashed
From the terrible crash
And Fred was left for deaded
But a resourceful physician
Was in a position
To reclaim the damaged Fred head
How clever and bold
With a gelatin mold
He put Fred's mushed head in a freezer
And when it was chilled
The doctor was thrilled
Although Fred now looked like an old geezer
And once he recovered
With his sister and brother'd
Move to a marvelous new village
Where turnips are kinship
With rutabagas and parsnips
And all things with hair of foliage
There Fred lived quite well
And found love in the dell
No longer wishing he'd just burn up
Then Fred put down roots
With a Beet and their shoots
You never know where love will turn up.
