It seems that in today’s society people are quick to judge someone who is different from the “norm”. One person specifically is Lady Gaga. I find her to be eccentric and enticing. As a society that’s based on money, looks, and status we instantly make assumptions about someone who is out of the norms. She dresses differently, sounds different, and doesn’t give a fuck what other people think or say. If only we could be more like her maybe the world would be a better place. I feel that it takes guts to be able to step outside of the box and be different and that is why most other artist dress, sound and look the same. Not only is lady Gaga an example but Michael Jackson as well. Both creative individuals that did it/are doing it their own way and made it without conforming to what the mass media wants and likes. Look at MJ, because he was different and liked to surround himself with children, to make up for the childhood he lacked, he became this monster who touched little children. Another example Lady Gaga, because she wears different clothing, and make-up she has a penis? Seriously?? I’d like to see Beyonce or Britney sit down at a piano and be able to sing and play acoustically and sound half as good as Gaga. She has far more talent than the majority of artist out there today and I just wish people would stop judging her and accept her and appreciate all the talent she has!
