Saturday mornings, I've decided, are for Herringbone concept art. This week, I'm attempting to pin down the titular character. I want him to look like something by Saul Bass with all the J.C. Leyendecker suaveness, and I'm floundering on how complicated is too complicated and what I can make abstract and what I can't and... yeah. This is my first page of attempting to figure him out.
