Visuals: 1.) Wolves are so hip right now-Metaphorest: I love the quirky title of this. I like that the wolf is wearing oxford military style boots. He's a wolf in a sophisto's clothing. har har :) seriously this is cool, and who could argue that wolves are in? haha 2.)The Morning After- Gaby Vaughn- This is a pretty zany remix of Ana Valentina and Messy Room by Megsy. I like it for it's off kilter colors. There are things in this mix that you just wouldn't expect. It's refreshing. 3.) There are stories in your veins {tiny story}- Sarah Frances: This reminds me a lot of Indian Henna. I like the backdrop that was used for it as well. 4.) Wake to Dream 3-ssarrahh: First of all I like the title for this I guess this is part of a series. While I have not seen the others in the series I know I like this one for it's good usage of depth of field. It's pretty transcendental and I feel entranced by the main character. I love the amount of light used in this photo as well. It's peaceful and tranquil. 5.) Doodle- Josephine-cat-cat: I am a big fan of cat-cat's graphics she always does an excellent job. I like the color schemes she decided on. I especially love the intensity in the eyes. The hood gives it this great dramatic appeal. Text: 1.)Pirate calls Lumberyard (tiny story)-adgraphicdesign: Such a funny oneliner. 2.)This be pointless, yar- Johhnyclyde: I thought this did have a point. This piece of writing was just sort of venting but the main points stayed with me. It's all about trying times. There were points where I shook my head agreeing. 3.)My kisses aren't free- RochelleBoucher: My perception is that this is a poem about respecting that love is earned and shouldn't be taken for granted. It was interesting, clever, and well written. 4.)Neo-paternalism-LawrieBrewster: This cracked me up. Vids: 1.) Tea Party Too- Tiny Film- Cameron Smith: I really respect this guy's work. I like the setting, the angles, the music. Wonderful sort of alice in wonderland vibe. My favorite touch is the four fake flowers posted on all four sides of the table. 2.) From the BUS 3-Vigitter: I looked through this series of videos she posted but found this one to be the best. I like it because of the shadows and light that pass through the shades. I love that it's empty but the shadows capture the movement. Music: 1.) Shut up and make your records-MadisenMusic: Quirky and fun. Lighthearted but true message lol. 2.)Stargazing-Pamagotchi: I think this remix is lovely. I particularly like the subject matter. When I was younger I used to go out onto my roof really late at night just to lay there and check out the stars. It brought me right back. Strong vocals, gorgeous piano. An overall breathtaking piece. 3.)Metatron-Jason.Soy: This is a kickback and chill song. It's different, I like it. 4.)Run through time-Johnnyclyde: Looks like Johnny made it twice in my rerecs. Love this piece. There is literally a shit ton to do with it. My favorite part is when it sounds like the character is moving backwards through time. I love the reverse motion that is captured in that moment. The whole piece tells a story with zero words. 5.)videolala-Wirrow: I loved the imagery that I saw in my mind by listening to this song. His vocals reminds me a beatles song in the beginning but I can't put my finger on which one. I guess it makes sense because he's british. right? anyway I liked the crescendo at the end. I don't know what effect he used on the keyboard part but that was cool too. It is also relatable to the times happening right now and can apply to various other things. I dig it.
