In a land not far from here there was a princess named Chandelier

She lived not in a castle with riches and servants galore,

but right above the old second hand store.

In the kingdom it was quite a shock,

when she removed her crown and grew a mohawk.

the king and queen gasped when they heard the hullabaloo over her freshly inked tribal tatoos

She traded her box full of jewels for a box full of tools,

She had learned  to be quite handy

there was quite a stir over her various piercings, faux fur,

and necklaces made out of candy

Princess Chandelier was content as could be with Ramen noodles and powdered milk

She could do without French poodles and sheets made of silk.

She held her head up with pride as she would not be any man's unwilling bride

She was glad she gave up her throne and her robe, for a much more humble abode.
