From the Fall Formal's Ashes: Recycling our Scripts
Hi all! I hope you're having a swell night. I don't know what script was selected for the skit at the Fall Formal. I don't have to, I'm sure whichever one it was, Joe and his accomplice performed it beautifully and everyone had a great time watching it :)
Here we are after the show's over and what do we have? I'm guessing a lucky few have some awesome memories from the night. I wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of those lucky few got footage from the Fall Formal to remember it by. However much footage we may have, I can say this for sure: we have 140 scripts for scenes that "could" have happened at the Fall Formal.
SOOOOOOO... I got an idea.
What do you think about us taking all these scripts, hackin', slashin', slicin', dicin', editin' and meshin' them all together into a single script that would run around one hour to two hours long and then finding a way to integrate actual footage from the live event (a genuine recording of the show if they filmed it and any footage supplied by other RECreators if it fit the bill) and put it together as a movie?
It just seems like if we have the materials already at hand (written content, footage, a venue that we could probably arrange to film at if necessary, etc) we may as well take what we got and milk it for all it's worth.
Any takers?
[Note: I basically just added everyone who submitted a script as resources as I figured they would be the most interested in pursuing this if anyone was. The one exception is fractuldust's "Fall Formal REmix" which I added as a way of saying thanks since I used it as a thumbnail. There were three or four people who I couldn't get their record to appear while trying to add them, so if I missed your record I apologize. Peace!]
