this is a collab for everyone. you don't need to be able to draw well or animate to take part!

there are 20 photographs of a blooming lily taken from sfbakstad's lily timelapse. i want us to collaboratively make an animation of the lily where each frame is illustrated differently. 

here's how you can get involved:

• download one (or more) of the 20 lily photos.


• make a drawing of it. (if possible, try to stick to the colours in the picture.)


• upload it to hitRECord and add it to the collaboration!


• don't forget to write which numbered photo you've done.

ideas for making copies:

• hold a thin piece of paper up to your computer screen & use a pencil to lightly trace the outline of the lily, then colour it in with coloured pencils, collage, paint etc. take a photo of it or, even better, scan it into your computer.


• open the jpeg in photoshop or illustrator and draw over it/colour it in there.

you don't have to be an expert at drawing to take part. it doesn't matter if the lines are a bit wobbly or your shading crooked. think of it like the next step up from wirrow's template game - http://www.hitrecord.org/records/83199
