Hi there fellow movie hitrecorders!

Righto - this thread is for those of you who are enthusiastic about becoming better filmmakers, who are eager to produce and learn how to shoot short films/webisodes etc.

There is a variety of objectives to this - delightfully bullet pointed below!

* To give direct personal advice catered towarsds hit recorders short films, relating to,

Pre, Production and Post.
(Including elements such as)
1. technical/gear and software advice, production tips, creative suggestions etc.

For examle you could ask me hehe (Lawrie) how can i get a good camera for free hehe, or i only have a cell phone can it still be good hehe, or how do i approach making a short etc. Of course my advice will be open to anything, broad or detailed relating to your short film. The point is that I can try and utilise my experience to try and help you personally grow, as well as hopefully, improve the quality of your film. I don't I wont share also the benefits of sharing ideas and suggestions too!

That really is the overall point of the thread, to become a tutoring resource where I can try and help cultivate film maker talent. Of course I would love to see hitrecord develop a film wing, but unlike traditional arts, it often requires a diverse range of talented individuals, equipments, softwares and so on. This takes longer to develop, and is the reason why the film industry exists to actually make it possible. Even small indy companies and filmmakers replicate the basic structure of production, in various forms. So I hope this will help to buid a future infrastructure and talent base at hitrecord, and that by encouraging professional practice, and creative encouragement, we can better utilise the works of scriptwriters and artists.

Okay - time for Post 2, a quick who am i? As i know this all sounds fine but makes me out to be Peter Jackson or something (I'm certainly not!)
