Character Sketch - Jessica
Just for brevity, I’ll conduct a list of things of the character that contains all the important aspects, as opposed to illustrating the character through an “encounter.”
Physiology:
-Jessica is a 17-year-old all-girls high school student. She has caramel skin with subtle freckles decorating her cheeks and long dark brown hair with bangs touching her eyebrows. She is average in height and weight, and is particularly overlooked by the average teenaged male. However, if one does look closely, she has these spectacularly big, round eyes with dark brown irises. Her mother, deceased for a few years now, once told her they were the best feature on her face.
-Her fashion stays up-to-date with what Urban Outfitters displays on their clothing racks. She favors wearing skinny jeans with dark brown cowboy boots, long cardigans, and white v-necks.
-She has a slight hunch when she’s sitting.
-Overall, she’s a pretty girl – but she has serious self confidence issues.
Sociology:
-Comes from a borderline middleclass/upper-class family – mother was an artist and father, a cardiologist.
-Lives in a very comfortable, humble abode, with both back and front yards.
-Pretty good student. In top 15% of her class. But she has a very negative attitude towards high school – has very little friends and sees no point in having the same classes every day.
-Likes her liberal arts classes – photography/cinematography and philosophy being her favorites.
-Religion is not specified. (Mother was Jewish, father is Catholic).
-Is the only child. Lives at home with just her father.
-Doesn’t follow politics.
-Is mixed (mother Caucasian, father black)
-Very independent.
Psychology:
-Has never had a boyfriend – her sex life is nonexistent.
-Has one particular best friend: Bridgette.
-Very introverted and nonaggressive towards anything. She’s very self-reserved, until one gets to know her. She doesn’t trust easily, but when she does, she gives you her heart, soul, and mind.
-Very impatient towards things.
-Can be sarcastic sometimes – either to be funny or ironic or serious.
-She’s easygoing, but not much of a conversationalist. She became so once her mother died. She was very close to her mother. She finds it difficult to become close to her father, but she does love him.
-Very artistic and wants to be an accomplished artist in the future. Art is her outlet.
-Has a phobia of the darkness.
-Speaks French to a certain extent.
-Pretty smart girl – good at math and science, but prefers to take after her mom and pursue the arts.
-Best qualities: trust-worthy, genuine, loyal, and listens intently.
