Twinkle Twinkle

Eff

Focus Fusion Society here.  I designed the poster here to talk about fusion energy. (Here's a pdf, full size)

The sun is a big ball of fusion energy.  And we can't live without it.  And yet, so big, so powerful - so overkill.

This poster invites the viewer to contemplate our strange universe, with these burning balls of gas (stars) and how little life they each sustain (i.e., we’re amazingly lucky on our planet.  Size and “goldilocks zone” restrictions to life abound).

How inefficient is that?

The idea is that if we can develop fusion on earth (without the mass of a star), we can have energy on demand, anywhere in the universe.  In remote space stations or colonies, for example.

So, I want to play around with this meme.  Have some eerie musical variations on the "twinkle twinkle little star" tune, while images and text and stats about the sun and fusion roll around.  Or the tune can play while scientists try to get fusion to work. Or...
