The first thing that came into my mind when I watched Joe's Tragedy/Comedy Collab. video was this close2heart story. And I couldn't think of anything more precise to reflect it than this profound picture of heartwarming laughter in this context:

The man in this picture is my bro-in-law and the kid is his daughter.

Nine years ago he lost his father, his young sister and his friend (his other sister's fiancé) at a horrifying suicide-bomber attack.

He was left with a grieving mother, a wounded sister a household to take-care of and a bottomless pit of pain.

When he met my sister and had his first child - it was like the sun rose again. That kid's being is the highlight of every day and of every thought. She has her late aunt's beautiful chick-dimple, and is the laughter back in this family's lives.

Her name is Doron, and its meaning: a gift.
