I love this illustration of this great tiny story, and this comment may be a little too late. However, I think that making Coincidence's text higher and Fate's text lower (or a similar adjustment) could help with the way it reads. At the moment it's easy to start reading it with Fate's text. Flipping the image so that Coincidence is on the left and Fate is on the right would also fix this slight issue. Apologies if this sounds pernickety, I really do love this illustration.
