One of my favorite experiences here on hitrecord happened sometime ago on V3. We sorta just played this game called hitrecord tag. How it started, Jenyffer.Maria put out this beautiful doodle called Grown. & I was inspired by that drawing so much that I wrote this poem called I love words, which later Mike better known as MetristAdrift re-recorded as a spoken poetry record- I love words, too. Out of the same drawing- Metaphorest came up with a record of her musings entitled: Grown, raw, textual musings, which then Damsel resourced and remixed into her wonderful poem called Be Wildered - hitRECord tag. I, then, remixed these two records, along with the inspiration I had from Jenyffer.Maria’s Grown record and released another piece entitled: State beginning with a W.

The best thing about this was that this was never an official collaboration. What we did was just purely inspired by each other’s work, comments and the experiences we shared through posting on the forums; and it’s precisely because of magical experiences/encounters such as this, why I fell in love with Hitrecord! I just wanted to share this with you guys, especially those who weren’t around on v3 at the time, just to cite another example of how inspiring this place is.

So with that said, I want to present an official text remix collaboration! :) All you gotta do is find a text record that inspires you and make something new out of it. We can just play around with each other’s text records. NO HOLDS BARRED!! lol. (If anybody has any reservations about their text records being remixed, or altered, please let us know. You could leave a note here).

This could also be translated into different forms of media. How this can be done, I will leave it up to you guys. Feel free to expand on this idea. This could be really fun, so hope you guys participate.
