Because I really love your work, I'd be very much obliged if you'd design something specifically for The hitRECord Manifesto collab I am directing. (See http://hitrecord.org/records/471529.) If you are interested in contributing, I am looking for a drawing of a dandelion, only one in which American-style “ONE WAY” street signs have supplanted the flower’s natural florets.
I would be thrilled with this dandelion image alone. But if you are feeling ambitious, feel free to design a slightly more dynamic scene that pictures a figure beginning to blow the floret-signs every which way.
Ultimately, my hope is for the dandelion scene to stretch over a double-page layout suggesting not only that RECords lead in innumerable directions, but more specifically that The hitRECord Manifesto itself may be read in any order. (I may also feature a brief bit of text on the page that obliquely suggests as much.)
Right now, I am dreaming of something that conjures the minimalist elegance of your “Playing With hitRECord Colors” (http://hitrecord.org/records/304988) or “Turquoise & Papillion hitRECorded” (http://hitrecord.org/records/307874)--though perhaps slightly more articulated in order to suggest the graphic specificity of the street signs. But I would be happy to see you take the design in other directions as well.
