Am I crazy?
A music video for the awesome 'I Have No Cats' song.
***
Update (11.6.11): the second costume in this video was my costume for Halloween this year. I should have tried something else... it wasn't very practical when I wanted to drink or eat something...

I wanted to apologize for not being able to make re-recs albums for the next few weeks (I'm on the move). I tried to make it up to all my readers by making this video (last week) with some records I would have re-recommended:
- "I Have No Cats": songs and collaboration
- the "hitRECord Mugshots" collaboration (and records)
- Call-In Song Requests: there are fantastic contributions!
- K-REC Stingers and the hitRECord 'Radio'
I also wanted to talk about the lip-syncing technique: I think it's not used enough for music videos in general and I would like to see how you would use it...
ok my example/ video is not the best one, but it really was just for fun. I couldn't shoot with some friends so I had to do it myself (and I'm not an actress as you can see hahaha) but for once, I wanted to show you what I had in mind and not write some suggestions or ideas for a video remix...
I didn't have much time for the editing but I will re-work on it when I'll be back. So, it's a work in progress as I'm still not completely satisfied with it.
Thanks again to tonguecutsparrow for the song and lyrics. I wouldn't have been able to make this video without the lyrics! ;)

HR doesn't have an upload limit anymore!! I can usually upload a file under a gig with ease. I'm using mpeg streamclip as a compressor.
yeah premiere pro, thats what it said.
can't wait to use this video.

Hey Marcelle,
I'm back in France! I downloaded the video from here and I don't understand, I don't have this message when I watch the video. What compressor or software did you use? I will do a research to see why it says this!
The video is compressed in a wmv file by the way. I know that some software doesn't read this kind of file. I'm planning to export the video again in a new file extension (from the original editing file) but if I don't compress it, it'll be too big to upload it on HR! I can also try to upload a zip file of the uncompressed version... maybe it'll be better?

ah it's weird, I didn't even edit it in Sony editing demo but in Premiere Pro... I'll see what I can do about it!
Thank you so much for liking this video :)

Like when i put it through a compressor. it says over the whole image "done in a sony editing demo" or something like that.
i seriously love it. if you get the time, that would be cool.
