Legal Questions About Footage

I'll open with: there are still some RECords that transfered over from V3 that definitely don't belong to me (former V3 references) and thus are there to be deleted if the powers to be would like to go ahead and do that. No rush or anything, I just don't want to get in trouble or offend anyone.

Now onto the question :)

I have a video I thought about uploading today that contained footage I wanted to post as a resource for the "walking collab" (not even sure if that collaboration has made it over from V3 or not, but hoping it was).

Problem is, the video was filmed in a public place, thus tons of peoples faces (and obviously no release forms to go with it), tons of trademarked logos, heck even some music that plays in some parts from a nearby radio.

I guess the question is, as I'm sure this situation comes up for a lot of people, would a candid, out-in-public video be ok to release on here? Anyone that could use it as a resource could of course edit some of the music out, or blur out the logos and faces, if necessary, but what about just uploading the RAW vid?

I guess these are questions, and checks, we have to constantly make now that hitRECord.org is a professional LLC and making potential money-making productions, even if the answer is sometimes going to be that we cannot use certain videos.

Any legal guidelines we could have to follow (aside from the already established "use your own work")?

Thanks so much for your time, guys and gals of hitRECord.org

:)
