Well, it's about time, I think...

draw a joe remix - by belcath1981 - I really like this remix for a few reasons; she's used resources in a way that seem obvious now that I've seen the final product, but which would have eluded me when seen separately. It takes a certain type of vision to be able to do that (and I don't have it). When I first saw it, I thought it was pretty humorous, the way that it looks like RegJoe is going to beat the red button to death with his guitar. But the second thing I saw was the background textures. I feel like the 'real' plus the drawing really makes the pic stand out. Also, she's coloured the guitar, and that with the red button creating hR motif. I like that only the guitar is in colour; again it seems to make it stand out, and my eye is immediately drawn to that.
A shadow's demise - by bloemday - This pic really stuck with me; not only because the shadow seems like it is aware that we (the viewer) are watching it; but also bloemday's use of colour. The yellows and pinks come through in the background. And while, yes, purple and yellow grass shouldn't seem normal, it does in this picture for some reason. That was the second thing my eye was drawn to, after the subject itself (and the fact that he (the shadow) has a shadow himself.
Yellow, purple and blue - jestferlaffs - Jestferlaffs is an excellent photographer (I've always thought so), and he's really great at capturing colour in a way that makes everything pop out. In this photo in particular, there are so many colours that it would be difficult to know where to look (which isn't a bad thing at all), but jestferlaffs also has a very talented knack for setting up a great shot and almost directing each place he wants your attention to drift.
_buttercup's reel - _buttercup - I love all of buttercup's work; she's got such a great eye for textures and colours that knocks me back every time. I often feel that I can feel what she felt when she was creating, as though her entire self, at that moment, is what is actually being painted on canvas (or whatever medium it happens to be in). This is part of her Featured RECords, and rightly so. She's got an amazing talent and I find that browsing through her reel is a absolutely the place I want to get lost.

RECordar - by Gimik Jo - When I was trying to gather resources to do something for the 'At the Movies' videos, I had a hard time coming up with a 'theme'. Once I saw Gimik Jo's record, I was instantly blown away. It's difficult sometimes to figure out the tone of a video when you're constantly poring over resources and videos. I think she got an excellent idea together and a way of tying together so many resources that really sets the mood, not only of the evening itself, but a beautiful recollection. The story that she weaves throughout kept me mesmerized (and I have to admit I've watched it a few times). A really brilliant concept and beautiful piece of work.
Foreign Sounds - kavonne - Another great example of using resources to tell a story, and such a brilliant edit! The resources she used were great RECords to begin with, but she's managed to take it that one step further (something we should all aspire to) and really put the icing on. I felt at one point that I was watching a professional music video, though I never felt as though it were contrived at all, but more easy-ohsee, almost like watching a well-edited home movie and a recollection of an event in the past. A gorgeous video which brought me to...oh, no, I swear, I must just have a speck of dust in my eye, or something. *sniff*
And finally, Metaphorest. Because she just rocks my world in so many ways. <3
edit:
SHIT! I forgot, I'm so sorry...I wanted to include the 'At the Vist' collab and thank everyone for all of the excellent footage and pictures and drawings and everything! I got so excited when people started uploading their RECords, and it's been so interesting and fun sifting through them all. I almost feel as though I was there... Thank you again!
xx
