She’s at that point where she can laugh And things will come together Or things will fall apart She’ll light a candle Listen to that jingle jangle music that she loves And shade that purple through her eyelashes A touch of blush Soft brush mascara eyelines in the night She knows the things that make her cry And laughs at them tonight. A hundred wings go flying through her head Soft feathers of another life Stroke patterns through her midnight mind And wide awake coquette alights She’ll slur a pretty symphony of fingernail fluorescence. She likes dark eyes against dark sky The black of pupils through starshine beams And she can laugh Or she might cry But tonight its all the same To only be accountable to that guitar beat bass That pulses through windows Pouring into city streets Her late AM philosophy That things will come together Or things will fall apart But tonight she laughs a vodka smile Into the sky and swaying with that heady music Intoxicated by the freedom She reaches the point where she can laugh Or maybe cry tonight. |

This is some great stuff. I'd be honored if you would add all your poetry to my collab, The Poetry Project.
