Spider fingers trace your face
Running around at frantic pace

What started out as sweet caress
Quickly unveiled a scary mess

Around the eyes those sparkling balls
Your fingers sink inside two holes

And further down above the lip
Your nose concealed a missing tip

You squeeze your cheeks all red and bright
But hit a stone hidden from sight

Confused and scared you grab your jaw
To ponder the meaning of it all

But even there another flaw
There is a hole inside your jaw

Waiting behind a perfect smile
Safely hidden for a while

You feel the joints there on the sides
Where this last nightmare for you lies

All loosened up moving around
Hysterically goin' up and down

As if it's laughing at you now
Out of control this creepy jaw

You've seen all that somewhere before..

And so you start to realise
This truth allows no compromise

Tear off the skin this flesh and blood
And all you're left with is this skull

Your pretty face is but a mask
Such a depressing morbid task

Carrying your death around this town
Tucked underneath a powdered gown

It lies there still white, hard and lifeless
It waits its turn inside the darkness

It's been your friend now for so long
You've been together through it all

It lays inside you sleeping tight
But as years go by it starts to fight

So next time you stare in the mirror
Look closer for this hidden terror

Reminding you of things to come
Visions of future leave you numb

Do as I say now don't be scared
Just close your eyes this is a dare

Now touch your skin and press your face
Now move around at careful pace

Feel what's inside there underneath
I know.. You hoped this was a myth

But now you know this is no lie
This is what's left after you die

This is no dream it is a curse
That you should hold in great esteem

See things are not just what they seem

And all you can do now is scream
