This is a design I sketched out a couple of months ago as a possible tattoo; it's very much a mission-statement-of-me kind of design, with the notion of ideas taking flight, and transformation. (Thus my chosen nom de guerre.) I'm still not sure whether I'll actually get it made into a tattoo, but an online friend in Germany is now sporting this on her leg, which does give me a bit of a thrill - something transient made permanent, or at least as permanent as flesh and bone can be. I kind of love the fact that I've never met this lass in person, and we're not even on the same continent, and yet this idea is now part of her.

...sorry, brevity is not my forte (which is another reason Flockofwords seemed apt); I meant to say that this is just a quick pen-and-ink sketch derived from various different images I found online - I'm curious to know what other people might do with this idea, in any medium.
