Have done any re-recs in a while and I feel it bit bad cause everyone else is so here are my re-recs for this week enjoy!

1. Twin (Metaphorest) - What I enjoy most about this piece is how most people in our generation and society can relate to it because nowadays most of have an online persona, with facebook, twitter and etc, heck even hitrecord.  It's the image we give out into the cyber world that we might not be in the real world.  Improved and perfect versions of ourselves.  My favourite line is "My flawless friend, Does not exist" because in reality we aren't who we are online, yes we may be the person writing it but, does it really make it you?  Anyway Metaphorest fantastic work as always! :)

2. Fast & Slow (MattConley) - A great remix by Mr. Matt Conley!  I really liked your use of AvaLeFou's footage overlayed with Joe's voiceover.  Plus rowrowrow song fits perfectly with the tone of the video.  You really do get that sense of how time is just flying by and then all of a sudden it begins to slow down but then it just goes faster again!  Great job Matt.

3. Not-so Tiny Story Suggestions (crispyfuller) - I think these are some pretty awesome suggestion by Crispy, it covers a whole wide range of options so everyone should go check them out.  Personally I'm all up for something involving mythology.

4. The HitREChronicle - Issue One (horrorshock666) - Can I just say this is BLOODY amazing.  It's presented beautifully and I can imagine it must've taken a lot of time and effort to create.  I think it really showcase's hitrecord's potentional and overall awesomeness lol.  I know that Soupy did a second issue but I do really think it would be great as a monthly thing.  Food for thought.  Anyway I recomend this to EVERYONE!!!

5. Make Space for Harmonies! (Metaphorest) -  Another re-rec for the lovely Metaphorest.  This song is really great example of hitrecord and it's remixing power, because first it was a poem by Metaphorest then a song by Lizziemackie then a super whammy combination song featuring both Metaphorest and Lizziemackie, who's voices I believe really do compliment each other.  Overall this is one of my favourite songs here on HR and I've been listening to it so much such it was released.

6. Make Space For Me (IrmaVep) - A really great remix by IrmaVep of Marke's image of Metaphorest/Lizziemackie's song.  Her image goes really well with the theme and tone of the song.  Great work!

7. Aid the Rising Sun (MattConley) - Another re-rec for Matt!  Ok so again this is an example of the amazing remix quality hitrecord produces.  With footage from the public domain and Joe's sundance "find the sun" appeal. Now it's been a couple of weeks since the natural disaster hit Japan but the message from this video is still important, just because the news isn't reporting about it as much anymore doesn't make the effects less harsh on the people of Japan.  So if you didn't buy a red button last month, donate something, anything because even the smallest bit counts, to save someone's life.  This video I feel also shows us how important life is and that we shouldn't take it for granted.  Living each day in hope to see the next.

8. a ninja's guide to giving hearts (fractaldust) - A really cute record by fratcaldust about giving hearts because we all know how nice and great it feels when you see someone has recommended your work.  I also like the t-shirt version, I'd buy it ;)

9. Fade In (CameronSmith) - Such an amazing video by CameronSmith!  I completely agreee that it's "Social networking at it's finest!".  Each shot is incredibly beautiful, simple yet holds so much meaning and just adds to the beauty of the video.  And pamagotchi's voiceover is amazing! MeganCarnes and Wirrow's music is just perfect.  I really just ADORE this record!!

10. a new hevn (video reading) (alpal) - This video reading by alpal of Wirrow's story is just unbelieveable! She does such a fablous job!  Seriously her voice conveys all the perfect emotion needed for that piece.  Also I love how she just lets her emotion go.  And the end, well lets there was not a dry eye in the house (ok there was because I was the only one in my house watching but you know what I mean).  Bravo alpal!

11. Wake (thesherbethead) - A great video by thesherbethead. Visually it's fantastic, the acting was wonderful, the shots were amazing and the addition of the animation was great.  Fits wonderfully with Wirrow's song.  I think the thing I really liked about it was that it leaves you wanting to know more but it also tells you a story that is up to your own interpretation.

12. First Glances Emotion (LizSmalls) - A really cute video by LizSmalls very flirtation and fun.  Great for her emotions collab (http://hitrecord.org/records/335054).  I think it would be so great if someone could act out the other side and then put the two records together!!  There would be so much cuteness!
