G'day! So, Dan had just posted a video for HR bumpers, and I'm presently working something in regards to perhaps a Family Band bumper, since it was (I believe) the most successful thread from v3 and had a lot of people really join in on it. What I was wondering, is if maybe the band members (or any others who would love to take a stab at it) could record audio of (or resembling) the instruments that you had offered up to the band. (This is where a link to the thread would be really useful), and I'll be sure to include it. Some sound effects requested: Spaghetti slurping, grass whistling, tap dancing, lightning (thunder), glockenspiel, washboard, kazoo. The more people chime in on this, the more successful it'll be! Aww, man! I'm so sorry I haven't seen this until now! It's been a busy week over here, but I can only imagine how you must be feeling with all that's going on, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for what you and your team is doing, Amanda. And I know that the vast majority if not all Canadians feel the same.
I'm happy this little thread has put a smile on your face. :) And hey, have you checked out the end product?

I've been so caught up with all that has been going on in Haiti that I haven't had much time for myself lately. I've been so emotionally exhausted these past few weeks and needed a break so I thought it would be nice to swing by the Family Band thread before going back to work. Dusting off my top hat and remembering how much I love our little 'family' - both in these threads and throughout the site.

I'm working on it Goodgirl!! I got the broomstick but the whale teeth are proving trickier - the buggers just won't play ball...:)

Meta - Thank you for volunteering the faux-glockenspiel! Whale teeth and broom handles...that's something I have to hear for myself!
And Dee, what a wonderful narrator you make! I can feel the Band really start to come together now.
Brainstorm Session! Sundanceville was conquer #1 and just the beginning. Let's record our instruments and roles! Write stories! Start a miniseries! Or an audiobook! How about a tour book? Let's record each other in top hats and make family band car fresheners! SO MUCH POTENTIAL.
