The perfect pair; a “match made in heaven;” They danced through their lives wonderfully didn’t they? Color and fire within their heart and souls; they were the flame that kept many of us going. Their encouragement and inspiration flowed through our very veins, until one day, one of the flames went out, the others feeling very alone; lost. But it should never be forgotten, the imprint left within our very being.  “This is HitRECord,” they claimed, a manifesto that would only come to grow more strong and more brightly every day.  We are all their children, their masterpiece. “It's me, it's you, it's the spaces in between. We're all connected now…” Let this forever be remembered. Let’s breathe it. Let’s live it. Let’s create it.

I wrote this with three amazing human beings in mind, at first: Dan, Joe, and teafaerie. And then I read teafaerie and Dan's "This is HitRECord" and it helped me to finish this little blurb as something that is more universal to artists and hitrecorders. Frankly, I believe that we not only owe it to the creators of this wonderful community, but to ourselves to take full advantage of what we have here. I don't really know what to call it: a calling; a rememberance; an ode. All I know is there was a beginning to HitRECord that these three people had a great hand in and it has forever changed my art and my passions. I wanted to post this little blurb on the site because it felt right. Do what you will with it. (Some of the resources are purely there because they deserve the recognition of making me think back on stuff.)
