late night contribution attempt

http://www.public-domain-content.com/books/adventures_of_huckleberry_finn/ might be an interesting one though it could be rather controversial too. However, Twain is considered a "classic American author" and is easily one of the best known authors in US literature.

Are the Canterbury Tales in public domain? I was trying to look it up and find out. I believe they are given the time period they were written. http://www.canterburytales.org/

Shakespeare's "Midsummer's Night Dream" was mentioned RegularJoe. It's one of my favorites too given certain things pointed out to me about it in college. Excellent taste there if it is one of yours as well, Joe.

And there is Poe. "The Purloined Letter" http://xroads.virginia.edu/~hyper/poe/purloine.html but even Poe's other mystery works could be fun. And would not necessarily have to venture into the horror material often associated with Poe but it could if we wanted to it to.

Hopefully my last night rambling is of use in this collaboration. Thanks.
