Dear Autocrat by pamagotchi. yeah, okay, it's featured, 'cause it's awesome, but I absolutely love that my random comment of accidentally combining Metaphorest's 'Dear Autocrat' and sbambrick's 'Tamquam Reus' inspired this. pam's pretty much awesome, she gets so much emotion into her voice that I didn't even need the images (which were chillingly chosen) to get everything I needed from it. watched it twice in a row, and the second time I just closed my eyes, because the way the music swells under her voice is haunting. :D

Recordare Rough Draft by sbambrick. the composition of music really just goes way over my head. composing orchestral music? blows my mind, especially since it's such a rare form on hitrecord. sbambrick's work (pretty much all of it) is the kind of flowing, moving instrumental work that makes me want to lie back and dream. that's really all I can say about it, but for real though. it's awesome.

a/illusions by sexymoustache. this has. something. I don't even know, but I love the thoughts, the stream of it and the disconnect between the characters that's not so much a misunderstanding, but sort of just a miss. like they've slipped just past each other, and can't figure out how they were on different tracks in the first place.  that was a bit weird, sorry. it's good though. read it. :D 

Metaphorest's Wanderer by PASIV. I dunno if swaying with glee is a proper comment, but that's what I did. PASIV is great at this kind of brilliant accompaniment in addition to being a musical awesome, especially when combined with Metaphorest's lovely voice.

Boy and girl remix by letsclimbtrees. this has such reality to it that's an amazing contrast to H-jin's original piece, which was whimsical and childish and full of lighthearted intrigue. it's more adult, like those original characters moved away, grew up, and found themselves back in front of that door, all grown up, but really they haven't changed at all. gorgeous lines, super simple colours that highlight the feelings of it.

everyone, wherever you are, at the same time by wirrow. yeah yeah, only just found this, it's awesome, everyone get over it. :) can we do this? I mean really? this would be awesome. I would phone people and play music into the phone just to prove that we were playing at the same time. 11/11/11 @ 11:11 anyone? :D

Spring/Summer by hangLOOSE. also old, but it's been so warm, and then got really cold here, and I'm missing spring. so, this to me is a timelapse of flowers blooming, lying in the grass watching clouds, and the smell of dogwood trees as a song.

Twin Typography by mnghali. Metaphorest's poem was brilliant and oh-so relatable, as per usual, but I really do love mnghali's visual interpretation of it. all the fonts are stuff you find in Word, but each one is carefully selected to give off an impression of what it says, infusing the words with emotion. really cool.

GODS and INFINITIES by fractaldust. I don't get math, I've come to realise this about myself. mostly I don't understand it, but more than that I just don't care. fractaldust makes me care, because she's got this ridiculous talent to make math into art, which I generally don't see in the world around me. also, this is a super badass piece of graphic art, like sfdetroiter said a la illuminated manuscript. (this also goes for the source text, which you should also read)
