they say best friends are forever,

but forever never really lasts.

we cannot live for an infinite amount of years;

we are not immortal beings, you and i.

we are two normal people.

so i guess, with all this said,

you are not my best friend;

you are something more.

because i know we cannot be infinite.

one thing is for sure,

we'll stand by eachother,

and take care of our friendship,

until our vital signs run flat.
