hey, I like it! I very often watch people the same way that your camera does - I kind of step out of a conversation for a moment, and just watch people talking, expressing emotions... So, the video looks very natural, the style is very convincing, believable, truthful.

There seems to be a sense in which you've captured some sort of stasis here, and yet the image shimmers with warmth and life. It's an incredible dynamic you've created, and one you rarely encounter in the moving image.

Often I make it a point to not use my phone when at a table with people. However, when I'm with my most comfy folks, it's not such a big deal. This RECord feels like that, just hanging out, doing nothing, together, sweet.

I definitely agree with everyone else, there's just something about this that is especially fantastic. The camera work is wonderful and this is just a great little video. You have the eye and skill for making really great stuff :)

Now, I might be wrong about this, but it looks to me like you've got the making's of a pretty awesome filmmaker, and you should maybe explore grander schemes. Like... I don't know, say, a documentary, perhaps? How would you like to travel?

Seriously, Cameron, this is so wonderfully shot, I'm surprised you didn't do this on a 50mm 1.4, but I guess it does make sense since it's not shaky, and the focus does seem easier to manage than a FREAKISHLY narrow DoF. But like, the song is great, the friends is great, I love all of this. AND LIGHTS!!!
