So, i've not really done many RECommends, but it's something I would love to start getting involved with. Here are a few RECords I love, and a little explanation as to why.

1) When I was younger (animation)

It's probably quite indulgent to love this record so much as it's from a drawing, but from the moment i saw it I was so impressed at how amazing and beautiful a record could come from such a simple drawing. It's just beautiful.

2) Victory Dream Doc Dance

I don't really need to say much. Perfectly sums up how i felt, and i'm sure how many felt :)

3) Mooring

Simple but amazing piece of art. I love simplicity and this is just wonderful.

4) I had a heart once

Amazing piece of writing. It really speaks to me on more than one level. I love Sarah's writing so much also and she is always original.

5) life is but a dream

Lovely little piece of animation, and anything Tori does always blows me away.

6) And a new earth

Wirrow always makes beautiful RECords and art, and this isn't an exception. Everything about it just flows so well, and it's very thoughtful and raises some very interesting questions, leading the viewer to think.

7) Little Red (colour)

Amazing drawing and something which I wish I could have drawn (but i'm not nearly good enough). I think it's up there with some of my favourite records ever, it's stunningly detailed without being overly complicated.

8) Time to...

Just a gorgeous little painting that perfectly captures HitRECord :)

9) Once upo a time my nomandic ways

I don't know why exactly, but it's a picture i really felt i connected with, and it's beautifully done. Just one of those things that captures your heart.

10) Thanks giving dan's three chords

Another one of those records that just captures your heart with no real explanation. It just puts you in a place, a feeling, and although it's something quite simple it's so heartfelt and has so much emotion it would be hard not to love it.
