reRECommendations 1-30-11

Here are some great records that deserve another look at by you.

The Vinyl Initiative by Anita - The vinyl collaboration is one of my favorite collaboration I've worked on and I really enjoyed Anita's take on remixing them together.  If you have a love for vinyl or special memories associated with vinyl I highly recommend contributing to this collaboration.

She had never seen it before by Theimaginedconfidant - Imagined creates these beatiful images that spark the creative juices in my mind, and this record is a great example of that.

The 'How' by fredwatford -  This one is a fun take on hitting record and makes me think of crazy future posibilites for the web site.  At the 0:54 mark fred starts to remix and blend records together in a way that just looks amazing to me.

Shadows' Invasion by Kebeo - A great combination of the shadow characters and the hitRECord logo.  This is a great record to use if you're working on the shadow collaboration.

Today I can't by gwy - Bottom line... gwy is awesome and if you didn't know that you should check her records out right now.

Buttons? by Marke - Who doesn't like buttons?  This record has some great ideas for buttons, so go recommend it so we can get some of these bad boys in the store.

Blue Flag by dermaptera - This records is a awesome soundscape that put me into a trance the first time I heard it.  The autoharp gives it a eastern feel that I really enjoy.
